The home’s interiors are curated by soon-to-be-architect daughter Deirdre McMullen, favoring a rich blend of antiques and modern furnishings. Deep gem-toned furnishings and richly patterned wallpapers complement the exposed stones, deeply stained timbers, and wood and slate floors. The estate also features a saltwater pool, expansive outdoor terraces, and beautifully landscaped gardens.The hosts are available to assist guests throughout their stay but will respect privacy to ensure a relaxing experience. The area is known for its green hills, lakes, and ponds, with plenty of opportunities for hiking, apple and pumpkin picking, and visiting local farms like Thorncrest Farm for fresh dairy and chocolates. Guests can also explore the local cider mill, Hogan's Cider Mill, and visit nearby nature preserves and state parks.
