FengHsiu 15 Aug, 2025We stayed at the Meguro River Residences for 11 days while our 5-year-old daughter attended a preschool exchange program in Eda (on the Den-en-toshi Line). The location was perfect — the train station is just down the street and only a few minutes from Shibuya, a major hub for connecting to the Tokyo subway system.It was incredibly convenient for dropping off and picking up our daughter, and also ideal for exploring Tokyo. There are also plenty of great local restaurants within walking distance.The location was so convenient that we were able to take day trips to Yokohama and even hopped on the Shinkansen for a two-day visit to Osaka — all with ease!The home was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable extended stay. The host team was very responsive and helpful — they even arranged a mid-stay cleaning, which we really appreciated.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to other families visiting Tokyo! Its practically new. 2 seperate bedrooms upstairs with Queen size beds or larger, great AC (actually 3 units, one per bedroom and one in living room), a kitchen with good sized appliances and all amenities. 2 bathrooms with handheld and rainhead showers with very good water pressure are grest to have. Its a big place, our suite, 6, had its own hot jacuzzi, it was too hot outside to use it. There is a free shared clothes washer in the complex and plenty of hanging to dry items. Parking is free and plentiful. You can walk 15 min to the main strip. If you want to be in Lefkada town, its a great place to be. Easy to communicate with ownership as well. The location is a quiet neigbborhood near the Imperial Palace Park and close to wonderful Kagarazaka neighborhood. Kundashita itself is itself not particularly charming but has a number of small restaurants and a good Aeon small supermarket very close to the apartment. We were very happy with our stay. It’s well equipped with essentials like shampoo, soap, hair dryer, coffee maker, washer, dryer, pots and pans, umbrellas, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the room darkening curtains. There’s street noise but it was fine. Location was perfect. Close to public transit and in a cute, quiet residential neighborhood. About 20 minute bus ride from the Shibuya station and 5 minute walk to the Hiroo station. Bedroom is upstairs. Stairs in the apartment are steep so may not be most suitable to persons with limited mobility. It was cozy for 4 adults. It was conveniently located very close to many attractions as Shibuya Crossing,Tokyo Tower and a 30 min drive to Disneyland. The host was amazing with instructions and cleanliness of the place as they came midweek to clean and restock towels. It was so comfortable with the beds and the shower. If you never been to Japan and this is your first type of place you’re staying in make sure you understand how the hot water works for the shower.
