MARK A 12 Jun, 2025The apartment was right beside the Duomo in Ostuni, so was basically at the centre and a perfect position to go to everywhere in Ostuni. The host was very helpful and easy to deal with. The apartment was large and well appointed and had a great balcony that was perfect to sit down and eat at. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Ostuni. There is reasonable parking not too far away from the historical centre. The unit was not in good condition, mould in the shower, other peoples hair in the shower, baseboards coming out of the walls with exposed nails, multiple dents to the walls, dirty surfaces, dust and hair all over the floor, the staff entered while we were there without knocking, a single loose sheet on the bed separating me from the mattress, there were 8 flights of narrow stairs to even get to the unit and I have been unable to get ahold of the booking agent (or they’re ignoring my emails). Read moreMonica 04 May, 2025Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and accommodations. 12 minute Uber 2/From airport. Check in/out was easy. Loved the apartment. Listing photos were accurate. It was spacious, well laid out, and nicely decorated. Each bedroom has good shelves/dressers for our clothing so we didn’t have to live out of our suitcases. Kitchen had all the necessities for when cooking at home, or reheating leftovers. Adequate sized bathroom with storage cubbies for each of our toiletries. Shower door was a bit tight/tricky to open/close and needs a little repair, but we expected that as we had read about that on a previous review. Our bedroom balconies faced the quaint park outside our apartment, which was great to experience the live music, and hustle and bustle of the Catania atmosphere. We were in walking distance to everything we wanted to explore. There’s a bus station only an 8 minute walk, which we took north one day then south the next. Plenty of restaurants close by to choose from. Two Lidl grocery stores about 20-25 minutes walk with great prices! Always came home with lots of good food and spent less than expected. Communication with the host was a bit delayed, possibly from the difference in time zones, so we just had to be patient. Everything worked out. The online manual was easy to access.
