The perfect sunset view over the caldera. The heart of Santorini! I would highly recommend the Villa Ioli Anastasia! It is set at the top of the cliff of villas in Firastefani, the most beautiful collection of cliff side villas in Santorini. The cave accommodations are classic Santorini and very upscale: the beds are comfortable, the showers are nice, etc. The location gives you the most beautiful view of Santorini, you won’t be able to take enough pictures from your own private patio. It’s within short walking distance of all the restaurants and shops. Firastefani is also located in the center of the island, so driving to Oia or Akrotiri is very convenient. This was huge for us and worked out extremely well since we brought our 3mo old daughter (and much to the chagrin of our Spanish neighbors). Eleftheria went above and beyond in helping us with organizing dinners, transportation and any activities. As great as the view was, she made the experience significantly better with her organizational skills and recommendations. The reason I gave it 4 stars was that we had 3 issues: 1. The online listing in vrbo notes that the villa is in Oia. It's not, and is just north of Thira. This turned out to be a blessing in disguise since it was significantly quieter, less crowded and the people were a lot nicer than what we encountered in Oia. We rented a car since we wanted to go to Oia, but after experiencing it a few times, we would have been better off in the restaurants around the villa. 2. The wifi went out for a day - not a big deal and Eleftheria personally came to make sure it was squared away again the next morning. 3. Read moreFreya 24 Sep, 2019BEST Villa & location! Firostefani is in a great spot as it’s not as busy as Fira but still an easy 10 min walk away. There’s good restaurants and bars close by as well. It’s a great area on the Island to get to other attractions. The property is just gorgeous, the pool area is amazing!!! We didn’t want to leave and would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Santorini. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and had some great recommendations. Very comfy bed, the interior decor is nice too. The host was so helpful and kind with every question we had like recommending restaurants, activities and booking them for us. The villa is beautiful with an amazing view! My kids loved the infinity pool and the location was perfect! There are stores and markets within walking distance.
