Bereits bei der Ankunft war die Villa in einem völlig unhygienischen Zustand: Es wurde offensichtlich nicht gereinigt – überall lag Schmutz, im Bad fanden wir Haarklumpen, Kalkablagerungen und tote Insekten in mehreren Räumen. Der Gestank nach Kanalisation durchzog das gesamte Haus. Der Pool war aufgrund einer defekten Wasserpumpe nicht benutzbar, der Whirlpool im Haus war ebenfalls verdreckt und nicht funktionstüchtig. Das Badezimmerfenster war kaputt und ließ sich nicht öffnen. Trotz mehrfacher Hinweise und der Möglichkeit zur Nachbesserung wurde keine Reinigung durchgeführt. Es wurde uns was vorgegaukelt und dem Buchungsportal etwas anderes erzählt. Wir können die Villa Funda leider absolut nicht empfehlen – weder aus hygienischer Sicht noch in Bezug auf Kundenservice oder Zuverlässigkeit. I sent a photo of the bath tub in the separate room, as the plastering loosened when getting wet. This should be fixed. My children did not want to shower there as the plastering clogged the drain. Washing machine is a bonus, no need to do a tonne of laundry when you get home. And it has a dishwasher. The pool is nice and cleaned regularly. We hired a car, this is needed as there isn't much that close to the villa. There is a bar over the road but it was closed while we were there. It's a 35 minute drive from Faro airport, and about 11 minutes drive to Albufeira and the beaches. The nearest restaurant and bar are any 10 minute's walk. The outside space is marvellous and perfect for eating in the evenings. The location is brilliant with good parking space and just a short walk to some fantastic restaurants. Wir waren zwei Familien mit insgesamt drei Kindern und haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit der Familie, die der Villa gehört, war außergewöhnlich – wir fühlten uns von Anfang an willkommen und wurden herzlich empfangen. Die Villa entspricht genau den Bildern, die wir vorab gesehen haben. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal aber sehr gemütlich, sodass wir uns sofort wie in einem Sommerhaus fühlten. Die ruhige Lage der Unterkunft war ein großer Pluspunkt für uns, da wir hier wunderbar entspannen konnten. Der Pool, der sauber und gepflegt ist, war ein Highlight für die Kinder und ein toller Ort, um die heißen Tage zu genießen. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die vorhandene Parkmöglichkeit direkt bei der Unterkunft, was die An- und Abreise zu den zahlreichen Strände auf Skopelos sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Wir können die Villa Katerina uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen sicherlich wieder! Read more
