TravelStaytion.com is an innovative new short-term letting and holiday rental website. Whether you're looking for a last-minute holiday, or extra space for visiting guests, you can find a secure way to enjoy a truly local experience. The site also allows property owners to use that spare room for something more worthwhile, as a safe place to let out their space on a short-term basis. We launched in April 2012 and just within the first month we managed to host more than 2,000 properties across Europe. Our early success is in no small part down to our team's hard work and determination. A London business school has given us invaluable support, advice and incubation facilities. The fact that it recognises the value in this novel way to travel has been a great confidence boost in pursuing our goals. In order to promote the business we focused on trying to find collaborators around Europe to explain our projects to. We channelled a lot of effort into advertising ourselves to establish links with them, and also took on board their comments as market research before we launched. Our community is starting to make bookings, and we are beginning to celebrate our early commercial traction. The social side of the Travelstaytion community is just as important; we're thrilled at the positive message our fans display among social media feeds.
