MEI 27 May, 2023Overall stay was ok. There were few issues and Evelyn was nice to help fix the problems. The early checkin and smooth pickup was a plus. The panoramic view of the caldera was nice, and to be near the blue domes were special however, there was no privacy . We kept the blinds shut because many people in front were taking photos , talking loudly in all hours of the day and night , leaving trash in front of door and counter . A loud restaurant was above the balcony.. . The money spent was not justified in my opinion.read more

Rosemary 10 Oct, 2022Evelyn managed the property and she is a delight. She sent tour and restaurant recommendations and even made a reservation for us when we couldn’t because of online stuff and nonsense. She arranged a car for arrival and departure. We are very grateful to her. The accomodation is quite spacious and very pretty. There were 4 of us including daughters 18 and 20. They each had a bed. The view from upper balcony is incredible. We tried hard not to feel superior to everyone coming to see the blue domes just a stones throw from Villa Calliope. It may be worth noting that the stairs to balcony are tight, some people may not be comfortable going up and down them. I would love to say I’ll be back but coming from Tasmania it is probably a once in a lifetime trip and one that we are all so pleased to have spent in this villa.read more
