Enjoying an elevated lake view setting up on the Castelveccana hills, this 2-3 bed holiday apartment with private dining terrace offers an effortless ambience for self-catering stays.
Occupying the accessible ground floor of a modern 2-storey villa, groups will easily be able to appreciate the natural, timeless feel of this special place.
Inside, a flat screen TV and free WiFi access accompanies the spacious double aspect Living room; which features a fireplace for cosy out-of-season stays. The inviting sitting room also enables guests to spill out into the sunny shared garden.
An open plan Dining area conveniently complements the Living room, making it ideal for carefree entertaining whilst away. Guests will find the adjoining Kitchen fully equipped with an oven, cooker hob, microwave, electric kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, dishwasher and fridge freezer.
A lake view Double bedroom with a king-size double bed offers a tranquil ambience for romantic holiday slumbers, whilst a Single bedroom provides a great option for a child or single holiday guest. Two extra guests are welcome to stay in the 3rd bedroom/study (which is furnished with a Double sofa bed).
A modern fitted family bathroom and laundry facilities offer added convenience whilst away.
Stepping outside into the shared garden, a private covered alfresco dining area with lake views is complemented by access to the lovely shared garden, which in turn leads to the outdoor shared pool.

From its sublimely peaceful setting, guests are only a 7-minute drive from Caldè (also known as Castelveccana and popular for its beautiful lake beach, amazing restaurants and lakeside winery) and are also within easy driving distance from the resort amenities and ferry-train links of Laveno-Mombello, the many local ‘Agriturismos’ and the popular tourist delights of the eastern shore.

Situated along ‘Località Pianeggi’, the location of the holiday home places guests within a short 7-minute drive from Caldè; with its picturesque lakeside village piazza, amenities and eateries to enjoy.
Guests are well placed for reaching the resort amenities and Lake Maggiore ferry-train links of Laveno-Mombello (14 minutes’ drive away). The charming resort town of Luino is only 19 minutes’ drive away.
Nearby Ispra (34 minutes’ drive away) offers a wide selection of bars, restaurants, supermarkets, the DK Summer Club, Active Sport Day excursions and lake swimming spots, whilst the famous ‘Hermitage di S.Caterina del Sasso’ in Reno di Leggiuno is just a 21 minute drive away.
Other local Lake Maggiore highlights include Rocca di Angera castle, the Borromean Islands and the resort towns of Intra, Stresa, Arona and Pallanza.
Lake Maggiore is a very family-friendly destination; with Safari and Wildlife Parks, the Lake Maggiore Adventure Park and the Ondaland high-tech water park to enjoy, alongside wind surfing, wakeboarding, sailing, diving, tennis, horse riding, golf and Italian Alp Skiing. Lago di Varese, Lago di Comabbio and Lake Lugano are also within easy driving distance.
Lugano Airport is just 58 minutes’ drive away, whilst Milan Malpensa is just 71 minutes’ drive away.
