DescriptionVilla Torre Merola is a wonderful villa immersed in the Chianti Classico countryside, in a panoramic position, close to Greve and halfway between Florence and Siena. From the entrance gate, after about 65 m you can reach the property, which is surrounded by a large garden with lawn.
Within the garden you will find a lounge area (furnished with a sofa, armchairs and a small table) and a dining area with a table for 16 people and a barbecue, an ideal setting for alfresco meals.
The outdoor spaces are embellished by a stunning private swimming pool (6 x 12 m, depth from 1.20 m to 2.40 m), located at a lower level and equipped with some parasols and sun loungers. From the pool you can admire a breathtaking view of the surrounding vineyards. Next to the property there is a small private restaurant owned by Villa Torre Greve and at our guests full disposal, it can be accessed directly from the garden.
Attractions
Villa Torre Merola is situated at 5 km away from Greve in Chianti the main town of the chianti terroir and located in the very middle of the wine area, Greve in Chianti a village just halfway between Firenze and Siena where you can find typical "trattorias" restaurants, traditional wine and olive oil farmhouses that you can visit for drink or buy wine and all basic shops.
The property is located in the wonderful area of Chianti Classico, known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical mark of the Gallo Nero) and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages which are along the "Via Chiantigiana", from Panzano to Greve, from Castellina to Radda.
Even Siena, a splendid medieval city full of tradition and artistic masterpieces, is quite near, just 1 hour away by car. It is also worth visiting the countryside of Siena: here you will find other medieval gems, of incomparable charm and still remained intact, like San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Volterra and San Galgano. For sport lovers, several options are available: trekking and biking paths; tennis courts and football pitches at the Sporting Club Ugolino (24 km); golf courses at the Circolo Golf Ugolino (24 km); riding stables at the Equestrian Center Antellino (32 km). Lastly, if you love shopping, we recommend a visit to The Mall Outlet (34 km), where you can find the most important brands of international fashion.

The property (422 sqm) is spread over 3 floors and divided into 4 lovely full-serviced apartments to provide the maximum privacy and comfort to a big group, as well as the apartments there are of course all the common areas where the whole group can meet up and spend time together (living room, internal and external dining areas, kitchen and garden).
Villa Torre Greve can accommodate up to 16 people for a total of 8 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms (including 1 outdoor, 5 with shower, 1 with bathtub, and 2 with shower and bathtub). There are also 2 extra baby-beds.
Ground floor:
On the ground floor you will find a living area, shared by all guests, furnished with a dining table, kitchen and sofas. From the kitchen it is possible to access the outdoor dining area ideal for meals and barbecues. Following a small spa, equipped with a hot tub and sauna. Use of the spa is included in the price.
On this floor there are also two apartments (one of which has a bedroom and a bathroom with access for disabled people). The first apartment where there are 1 double bedroom, 2 private terraces and 2 bathrooms. In the second apartment you will find a double bedroom and a bathroom.
First floor:
On the first floor there is the third 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms apartment, and 2 more double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom.
Second and third floor:
The fourth apartment is spread over the second and third floors and it has 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. From the third floor you can admire a spectacular 360 ° view of the surrounding countryside. Included free Wi-Fi.
The villa is equipped with air conditioning.
