The ocean view of Key Biscayne was stunning. Our family celebrated my son's marriage that was held on Key Biscayne at the Rusty Pelican and the location of the Villa was so close to the wedding site that it made getting to the wedding a breeze. All of our extended family enjoyed staying together in the large and plush accommodations. The pool was a favorite place to cool down after the festivities. My favorite spot in the morning was to grab a cup of coffee and escape to the table and chairs by the ocean and just take in the beautiful view of the bay. The master bedroom had a great view from the second floor. Having 5 1/2 bathrooms definitely helped when everyone was getting ready for the wedding. Read moreRosie 14 Sep, 2017Excellent stay at Merv Griffin Estate! We had our company retreat at the Merv Griffin Estate. Let me start by saying that the house and grounds are gorgeous! The swimming pool overlooks a private pond with an amazing water feature. There were 10 of us, we each stayed in our own private room or casita. The rooms were sparkling clean and the bathrooms are simply amazing with hand laid tile and huge bathtubs. At our request, our concierge fully stocked the kitchen with water, coffee, tea and plenty of snacks. We will definitely stay here again! The location is wonderful; waterfront in a quiet street yet close enough to the amenities of beautiful Key Biscayne. Hire a golf buggy to get around - catch exotic fish at the bottom of the garden - a great place to relax and refresh. Plenty of good restaurants and shops within buggy-range. If you like boating, hire one from Club Nautica at Crandon Marina and take a trip out to Stiltsville or into No-name Harbour and vistit Boater's Grille for lunch. Claudia was charming and could not have been more helpful - always available to provide information and help if needed. We'll definitely be returning! The location is perfect providing privacy and tranquility and yet is only a few minutes walk away from the Marina Rubicon. The Marina has a great selection of bars, restaurants, shops, and promenade walks. The Blue Note Jazz Bar became a regular evening haunt with great live music. The communication with the owner was always prompt, professional and friendly. I thoroughly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday where you can choose to leave your car outside until you return to the airport and/or easily venture forth to explore the sights further afield. The host was very quick to reply to our initial enquiry and to our questions before and after we arrived. The flat or studio as the bedroom is really an alcove is very luxurious in every way. Super comfortable bed and sofa, high end kitchen and equipment and a fantastic bathroom and shower. Having access to the little garden was very nice too. The area is fantastic: minutes from the Presidio park and from shop and restaurants. Very beautiful to to walk around and admire the view to the bay from every corner and some amazing houses. Everything was delightful. The house is excellent! Everything that can be needed from the appliances and utensils is available, the barbecue area and the swimming pool are amazing. A quiet and secluded place away from the roads. Sifis is gold! Met in time, everything showed, advised where to go, always friendly and in touch.
