David 08 May, 2025What a fantastic place to stay! We are a family of 5 and it fitted our sleeping requirements perfectly. A very modern property and the Hot Tub is the icing on the cake! Very quiet and felt safe for the children to explore. Two pubs a very reasonable walking distance to the right as you leave the site, we would definitely stay here again. What is advertised as a luxury home, was a tired, broken property. The owner knew that all of the blinds that provide security whilst staying in this home, were not working. Therefore everyone could see you at all times of day. I had two children with me and we could not watch TV as the sun/glare came through all day and of course at night, everyone can see you sitting there and pretty much watch everything you are doing on your holiday. On top of that, lights don't work, shower setting on boiling hot only, not enough cutlery, damaged kitchen.....the list goes on, DO NOT waste your money here as you literally will not see a cent of it back if you complain! The layout is stunning, huge and spacious including a Sky lounge giving stunning views over Saundersfoot (even with one neighbouring tree blocking it in part - see pics), fantastic bedrooms and en suites, one incrdible bathroom and bathtub and superb kitchen and rooms too. When we arrived the place wasn’t clean so I called Andy and he arranged for a cleaner to come round and get what they missed but as the week went on we found more and more things wrong! The ovens fan didn’t work so it burnt our dinner on the first night, the small bedrooms window wouldn’t close so we had to leave it open also the small one in the kitchen wouldn’t open at all. We didn’t get much sleep at all it wasn’t a comfortable place to hang out in because you were competing with the extractor fan from the pub below, they had deliveries between 6-8 almost every morning and if it wasn’t that then we heard the window cleaners at 6. We couldn’t close the windows because it was so muggy so we could hear everything that was going on, they started drilling downstairs at 9am without even bothering to let us know, the people next door where banging on our door as they thought it was us! The apartment constantly smelt of fish and we tried to find where it was coming from and no it wasn’t from downstairs because it was even there when they didn’t serve food, all in all unless you’re a really heavy sleeper, don’t mind black mold/ rundown accommodation, deaf or can take hearing aids out then this is the place for you. We knew it wasn’t a good start when I had to ring them up to ask the code to get in as they didn’t attach the info in the first email, he was very abrupt and lacking in customer service. We were meant to stay until Saturday but are leaving two nights early as we are tired and upset. I’m waiting to hear from hotels.com for a partial refund but I have a bad feeling that we won’t get one!
