    The check-in was very difficult. I booked the apartment with HomeToGo but Travelstaytion collected the money and a third partner, Homing, came into play for the check-in. We had not received a confirmation or any information from them on how to check in until one day before departure. I tried to contact Homing multiple times by email but received no reply. Until then, I was unsure whether we would have accommodation and how we would get to the apartment. Only after contacting Homing by phone did I receive a redirect to a check in page. There was a considerable price difference between the amount I had paid and the price quoted by Homing which I only discovered on the check in page after booking and paying for the apartment. Home to Go: 977,00 € Homing: 831,20 € Difference: 145,80 € At least three companies are involved: HometoGo, Travelstaytion and Homing. None of the companies offered any support or help when I contacted them regarding this apartment. After arriving at the airport we had to go to the Homing office to pick up the keys. This is not a good start to the vacation if you have to take public transport from the airport and then walk with your suitcases to the office to pick up the keys to get to the apartment. The apartment also had significant flaws and was ultimately a big disappointment: Entire apartment: Despite what was stated on the website, there was no internet connection. I contacted Homing and was told that the apartment had been sold and there had been a mistake that caused the internet provider to stop the service. They promised to take care of a partial refund, but did not reply further. We therefore had to use our mobile data and the TV was also unusable. All the cupboards in the living room were used by the landlord as storage space. Kitchen: The kitchen was of very limited use and unsuitable for cooking. The cutlery was of poor quality; there were no sharp knives, no chopping board, no can opener, no spatula, minimal and small pots and pans (one pot was missing a handle and the lid did not fit on the other pot). Furthermore, there were no trash bags, and no salt, pepper, oil or sugar, i.e. the minimum amount of basic equipment you would expect in an apartment with a kitchen. The stove vent hood didn't work. There were only two tabs for the dishwasher, so we had to get them ourselves. Bathroom: Only the smallest and poorest quality towels available at IKEA were provided and were not changed. There was no hand soap dispenser. Bedroom: The bed was very uncomfortable. We could feel the springs and it was difficult to sleep. There were no blackout curtains, so the sun shone directly into the bedroom early in the morning. We could hear every step, every closing of a door and every conversation of the upstairs neighbors, often in the early morning hours. The closet was also unsuitable for a vacation apartment, as there was only a clothes rail and a shelf underneath for shoes, but no compartments for other clothes. We had to put most of our clothes on the couch. Balcony: The balcony was dirty and the drain grate was broken. There were cheap and dirty brooms, dustpans and buckets in one corner. The clothes rack was rusty, broken and only had one clothespin. Since we like to cook on vacation, I deliberately chose an apartment with a kitchen, which was impossible. Therefore we had to spend a lot of money eating in restaurants. I understand that this is not a luxury apartment, but it didn't meet the minimum standards. In the end there were too many shortcomings and annoyances, so that the vacation was considerably spoiled and in my opinion the apartment did not live up to the price we paid and did not meet the requirements of a vacation apartment.     It was a horrible experience booking with this apartment. As other review has been shared, booking, checking and day of check in was beyond disappointing. Paid in full and followed all instructions. Few days before checking in - online check was made. Chat room has no reply and also instruction to enter the apartment. Location was unclear. Day of check in, WhatsApp the contact provided only to know that the booking was invalid and also there was no apartment that was confirmed. Even tho payment was made and all. We were told there was no apartment and it was not available. And there is nothing they can do and they did not reply or follow up on the messages. We had to book last minute hotel with higher price due to last minute bookings. With that said the location was bad, with a lot of homeless and urine smell everywhere. It’s not a safe location.     verschrikkelijk. Overal vochtplekken, schimmel en kieren. Nog nooit in zo’n smerig bed geslapen. Bed rook naar pis, na afhalen beddengoed zaten overal pis- en spermavlekken. Fineer van de kasten laat los, overal vochtplekken op de muren. Alsof een blinde dit appartement verhuurd. Wc-bril zit los, wifi doet het niet, wc-papier moet in een klein prullenbakje. Bij aankomst wordt de telefoon drie keer weggedrukt en krijg je een bericht of het via Whatsapp kan. Na bericht moet je 10 minuten wachten op een reactie voor de cijfercode. Via de e-mail of whatsapp een bericht vooraf met de code lijkt me vrij logisch. Gelukkig regent het niet, anders sta je daar met je goede gedrag 10 min te wachten. Simpel kutvolk wat zo’n woning verhuurd voor 85 per dag, met mooie foto’s en een mooi verhaaltje. Zouden ze moeten verbieden. Locatie is top. Oja, 250 euro borg betalen voor zo’n zwijnenstal is echt kansloos. Read more

    We had a great time in Lisbon. Although the location of the property was perfect we were very dissappointed with the quality of cleaning, i.e. bathroom, floor and under the beds. Communication from staff was confusing and not clear. Staff in office were very nice but need to improve on communicating via phone and emails/messages. Also it would improve guests experience if there were a information booklet in property explaining how tv works, which items should be in the kitchen (there were no mugs), how to work coffee machine (which capsules) etc. Read more

    Most of the apartment was clean except for the obvious mold in the upstairs shower… Many of the door handles were also loose/would come out of the doors…Which is crazy considering the price. Some amenities (washing machine, hair dryer) were not present. Read more

    The apartment is large, but with a difficult staircase at the entrance. It is not so close to public transport. The place had no noise. Comfortable beds. The apartment key has to be picked up at another address, which you need to communicate and discuss with the host prior to arrival. Read more

    Lovely place. The apartment is away from the city which is a downside, and it is in a convenient location from the Congress centre that I went to attend, so was convenient for me. My only complaint is the collection of the keys. It is on the opposite side of the city and had to take a taxi back and forth. This was not very convenient at all.
