The smart tv is located in the dinning room and those chairs were not comfortable for long sitting while watching tv. Would suggest they put in a smaller dinning table and add a small couch/love seat to watch tv or just sitting around. This place had a lot of insects and bugs making it virtually impossible to sit outside or in the hot tub. There was no bug spray to use. They need to have the inside and out professionally bug sprayed and provide bug spray for use while there. Unknown to us, until it happened, you can not have all 3 air conditioners, oven, stove on at same time; it blows a fuse - we were not informed of this prior to it happening. Someone had to come out and reset the fuse box. The home is close to the beach area but they do not provide beach towels. Beach towels need to be provided - out of country patrons do not travel with beach towels as it puts too much weight in the luggage. Also, more than 1 set of towels should be provided as well as extra set of sheets in case either are needed. The location of this home is far away from the main town of Naxos. Renting a car is a must. There was really no staples to be used; like: salt and pepper, any condiments, a few bottles of water were provided but you need to replace if you take any. You need to remember to turn on the water heating switch about 15-20 min prior. They need to have a sign reminding you of this. Next door neighbors property goes in front of the house and to the sides. We didn’t realize this nor were we told of this, until we heard then saw people working on land in front and to the side of the house. Would have been nice to know this ahead of time so we wouldn’t have gotten so freaked out about strangers around the house. That being said about the house, the island of Naxos is very desolate, sparse on greenery. It’s a very small island with not a lot to do. If we had to do it over, we would have skipped this island all together or only stayed 2-3 days max. Read moreNancy 30 May, 2024Wonderful Naxos The villa was wonderful, It felt like a spa. Read moreNatalie 09 Nov, 2023We stayed here for 4 nights and really loved it! The villa was so lovely, immaculately clean and really nicely done throughout. The pool and outside area were great. Really private and just what we needed with 2 young children. The space inside was great too nd was very well equipped. It had everything we needed, including a washing machine, clothes airer and toastie maker! Location wise, it was a 10 minute walk to the beach and main area of Agia Anna (agree with previous review that a torch helps in the dark). We loved the area. The beaches are amazing, lots of lovely restaurants, a supermarket etc. And a great bus link to Naxos Town and other areas. Worth noting there is a lot of construction work in the area. During our stay, the work was paused for the rest of the summer so didn't cause us any issues. But I imagine if you stay during working periods, it would be very disruptive when you're in the garden. Charilaos was on hand to offer any help we needed prior to our arrival, during our stay and was super helpful and there immediately when we needed him for anything.
