    Overall stay was very good. Slight challenge getting decent prices for the taxi and tuk tuks due to the hill but otherwise was not bad. Rooms were big enough and facilities OK. No ironing facilities on arrival but they sorted that out very quickly. Pool was nice and a good temperature. Toilets couldn't always cope with so many kids don't what kids do. But otherwise no real gripes, although the villa description was not totally accurate. Overall good value for money. Read more

    Booked 5 days in another room waiting for 1406 to come available. Had booked 7 more days in 1406. Had major problems with the prior room (1202), so had already had a unplanned move, while waiting for 1406. On the day of the transfer and after packing and ready to move, informed that 1406 had an electrical problem and would be blocked for two days. Rather than unpack and repack again, in two days, I choose to stay were I was for the remaining 7 days (Giving up the upgraded room I was planning for). Here’s what ticked me off the most: I understand that the owner was using 1406, prior to my planned move in. I could be wrong, but it looks like the owner had choose to inconvenience a paying customer, instead of himself (he must have known about the electrical problem). I decided he didn’t deserve my business, and choose to stay where I was (even though I was disappointed to give up the upgraded room). Lofty did quickly agree to refund the difference in room cost, although they seems to have trouble getting approval from Travelstaytion or the owner. I did finally get my refund one week after checking out. Read more

    Upon arrival: Floor had hair on it. Drinking glass was dirty. Room smelled like someone had smoked in it. Closet door open was jammed (would not open). A/C leaked water. Guys who came to fix A/C didn’t know what they were doing. I watched them take it apart and put back together 3-4 times, while one guy took pictures of the other guy working. I think they were faking it. After they left, A/C leaked the same. Lofty did move me to anther room on 2nd day (was booked for 5 days). Thank you. One other thing misrepresented: your website refers to resort amenities that are implied available to Lofty customers. Did not discover until I get there, that the Resort does not allow Lofty customers to use the Resort shuttle. Effectively adding 600 THB a day to cost (taxi). That alone is a deal breaker for me. Will not book again. Read more
