La Maison du Lac is located in the panoramic hamlet "Pino" of Varenna, with a fantastic panoramic view of Bellagio: the terrace is ideal for enjoying sunsets over the lake in front of a drink or for lunches outside, while the garden makes it the perfect solution for families with children.


La Maison du Lac is an apartment on the top floor of a small building and consists of entrance hall, living room with single sofa bed and exit to the terrace, large kitchen, two bedrooms, one double and the other with two single beds, bathroom with shower. The garden is on the ground floor and is accessed via an external staircase.

La Maison du Lac is equipped with every comfort and everything you need for an independent stay: WiFi, TV, Stereo, fans, iron and ironing board, drying rack, vacuum cleaner, cleaning kit. In the kitchen there are oven, gas hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, mini-pimer, blender and much more.     The apartment is well appointed with all the necessary items for a long or short stay. The views from the balcony are spectacular. The location of the property is significantly further away from any stores, restaurants, or pathways than we had planned for and it's fortunate that we had a car for the very frequent drives into town. However, parking is very limited and expensive in this area. Multiple taxi drivers declined to take us into town when we made a request, so we committed to driving ourselves everywhere, which was also unplanned and often inconvenient. The downstairs neighbors were somewhat of a distraction as they spent many hours per day smoking weed on their balcony - which made our balcony a lot less attractive. They also had a barking dog and crying baby, so we decided to stay one night at a hotel in the actual village to get a break from the apartment - this came at a significant and unplanned additional cost. The apartment is clean and modern and may be more suited to larger groups/families who plan to eat and stay at the property longer term.
