Description
Very nice, recently renovated, in the heart of the historic center of Florence, a few minutes walk from Piazza Santa Croce. Traditional Tuscan furnishings, particular style, high wooden ceilings typical of Florence, 2 bedrooms, 60 square meters. It is located on the second floor of a historic building and there is no lift.The apartment is in perhaps the most lively and lived-in area of the historic center: the neighborhood around the Church of Sant'Ambrogio and Piazza Santa Croce. artistic, the apartment is also very quiet and away from the noise of the city. However, there may be activities outside the apartment that can create noise and that are beyond our control.

The apartment is made up of 3 main spaces: a) A long living room / kitchen / dining room as a single space that is very comfortable and well divided for all needs (cooking, eating, resting, reading, listening to music); b) a bedroom with a double bed; c) a smaller room with a single bed. There is also a very comfortable extra bed to put in the small bedroom or in the living room. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower and round sanitary ware. There is also a small balcony overlooking the garden and internal courtyard. The apartment has been renovated a few years ago: it has natural parquet throughout almost the whole house, built-in kitchen with very beautiful tiles, wooden ceilings and furnished with traditional Tuscan wooden furniture. Paintings and works of art made by us too hang on the walls. Everything is immersed in a beautiful silence and tranquility but as soon as you go down the street the liveliness of the neighborhood immediately captures: the market and the square of Sant'Ambrogio, Piazza Santa Croce and just a few steps away the other wonders of the city….
Guests can access all areas of the house. However, it is important to take care not to throw anything off the balcony as other people live downstairs.
Our apartment is inside the ZTL area, "limited traffic" and to be able to access it and park your car in peace and safety, just contact a private garage to be able to obtain a temporary access permit. The public bus service in Florence is provided by Autolinee Toscane, the cost of the ticket is €1.50 for a single journey in the city and you can find it in a Tabaccaio (shop with a T outside). The Taxi service is active using the app "App Taxi".
Heating temperature. The energy crisis and climate change force us to keep the temperature no higher than 18 degrees during the winter.. City Tax: € 6,00 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 7 nights
