Second floor apartment with kitchen equipped with appliances, offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The apartment has WiFi connection and washing machine, and portable air conditioning in the bedrooms.
The Cathedral District:
The apartment is located in the heart of the historic center of Florence, in the ancient district of San Giovanni, where you can admire at a glance the monuments that make the city famous, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
In Piazza Duomo there is the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, with the dome masterpiece by Brunelleschi, the soaring bell tower by Giotto and the ancient Baptistery of San Giovanni.
The surroundings offer many points of interest such as the "Museum of the Opera del Duomo", the Bargello Museum, the Casa Buonarroti, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, and Ponte Vecchio.
Splendid squares surround the district: from that of San Lorenzo with the famous market, to Piazza delle Repubblica with the historic Gilli bars and the Paszkowski Café-Concert where you can enjoy excellent pastries, coffee and cocktails and the spectacular Piazza della Repubblica.
It is also an ideal area to enjoy a day of shopping in the exclusive boutiques of Via Tornabuoni, Via Calzaiuoli, with wide and varied commercial offers, something for all budgets.
Transport and services:
Our apartment is inside the ZTL area, "limited traffic" and to be able to access it and park your car in peace and safety, just contact a private garage to be able to obtain a temporary access permit.
The public bus service in Florence is provided by Autolinee Toscane, the cost of the ticket is €1.50 for a single journey in the city and you can find it in a Tabaccaio (shop with a T outside).
The Taxi service is active using the number +39 0554242 or the number +39 0554390, or using the "App Taxi".. City Tax: € 6,00 per person per night to pay at check-in for a maximum of 7 nights
