They opened up their apartment and their home to us and we are extremely grateful. You could not ask for a better host. The location was in centro storico and it was easy to access everything including buses and trains. Their recommendations were taken on board and added to our experience in Martina Franca. False advertising: The listing did not show that the master bedroom lacks a window and that the bathroom has neither a window nor proper ventilation—both essential features missing but not disclosed in the photos or description. Illegal rental: Under Italian law (Ministerial Decree of 5 July 1975), bedrooms must have a window for natural light and ventilation, and bathrooms must have either a window or mechanical ventilation. This property does not meet these legal requirements and should not be listed as a rental. Unclear and aggressive communication: Though our booking was with Expedia, we were contacted by at least three other organizations (including Happy.Rentals), who never acknowledged their errors but instead attempted to charge us more money without justification. Unwarranted and harassing demands: These parties persistently emailed us (7 emails from 4 people in 4 days) requesting extra payments, including for a dog fee, even though Expedia’s listing clearly states that the property is pet-friendly with no extra fees. Given these serious issues, we ask Expedia to issue a full refund and investigate the conduct of these partners. Sie hat zwei Schlafzimmer und einen Wohn- und Essbereich. Die Küche ist etwas schmal ausgestattet und der Herd hat keine Dunstabzugshaube. Ansonsten aber nichts zu beanstanden. Die Übergabe hat sehr gut funktioniert und die Lage ist auch sehr gut. Parken am Haus geht nicht, aber es ist einkostenfreier Parkplatz in der Nähe. Ther was no address and nobody to reach out to for help (neither the help desk of BungalowNet, nor the resort itself because there was no phone number indicated) -we received a bunch of different informations on the check-in time in various emails. In our online account from BungalowNet we could choose easily differing check-in times but afterwards we always got informed that we'd have to verify the chosen check-in time with our host. The premise to do that was to make international calls which still cost a fortune. The help center couldn't help either - the towels were not once changed in a 10 day stay. The cleaning staff was once standing in front of the apartment but didn't enter because we were still inside. Instead of return later that day or ask, nothing has been done. - despite of a kitchen and a 'welcome-set' with a sponge and some dish liquid, there was no kitchen towel or dish liquid for the dishwasher - for 10 days just 1 roll of toilet paper - the pictures on the internet don't show the defective areas, e.g. next to the tennis court, inside the shower or at the beach - the price was too high considering the lower season and the services Read moreHENRY 13 Sep, 2024Amazing view!!! Unfortunately, there were too many issues with the inside of the house. There was water damage on the walls of the bedroom, internet didn't work for the first few hours, bathroom sink clogged up, no shampoo, only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, air conditioning unit leaked water and soaked the bed. The garden needs some improvement too Read moreMax 30 May, 2024The house looks like the photos but may differ because you get one of 300 identical units. The check-in was terrible. According to the website, it was possible from 3 PM, but since we arrived at 6 AM, we asked around noon if we could check-in early because we arrived earlier. We were rudely told, without even glancing at the computer, "No, it's not possible, maybe at 2 PM." By the way, there were hundreds of free keys hanging on the wall next to the reception. So we came back around 2 PM and asked if a room was ready now. We got the same response, "NO CHECK-IN BEFORE 3 PM, CAN’T YOU READ?" The reception staff became increasingly unfriendly. The highlight was when we tried to check-in around 3:20 PM and were told, "We still have to wait for the list, check-in is not possible yet." Finally, around 4 PM, we received one of the already empty 200 cabins. Hospitality is not a priority here. The house was clean, but the bed linens were dirty and stained. We were able to exchange them for free at the reception, but the new ones were also dirty, so we ended up using our own blankets. The house was very small, with bed lengths of about 170 cm (good luck to anyone taller). Out of the 300 cabins, maybe 20 were occupied despite the holiday. Then we went to the beach, which resembled Chernobyl or the next Fallout or Walking Dead game, with dilapidated facilities where the paint was peeling in 2-meter high grass. We wanted to rent a boat, but the shop was unstaffed, and the boats were lying on the shore despite the nice weather and the reception saying, "Go to the harbor to get the boats, not here." Swimming should be reconsidered because the whole shore is full of entangling plants where your foot can easily get caught. There is also a shop that charges €4 for a 0.3 liter Coke.
